《幻影現實》展出攝影家沈昭良的《STAGE》(舞台車)、《Singer & Stage》(歌手與舞台車)及《台灣綜藝團》等三系列作品，是在2005至2012年間，於全台各地拍攝綜藝團產業的系列創作。包括由大貨車改裝而成的油壓舞台車，演出歌手肖像及綜藝團演出實況的動靜態作品彙編。展覽除了將完整呈現《STAGE》系列作品，也將是結合當代與傳統攝影語彙的《Singer & Stage》系列，和以純粹紀實攝影勾勒綜藝團產業與庶民社會間關聯的《台灣綜藝團》系列部分作品，於台灣的首度發表。在喧鬧與凝視、動態與靜態、現代與傳統、幻影與現實之間，連動觀者對台灣在地娛樂產業的另一種文化視角與觀照。
In Shen Chao-Liang’s Illusion Reality exhibition, the three series, STAGE, Singer & Stage and Taiwanese Vaudeville Troupes, Shen followed the troupes all over Taiwan from 2005 to 2012, and captured many subjects in the vaudeville industry, including the stage trucks, portraits of the performers and singers and the performances of the troupes.
In this exhibition, through STAGE, Singer & Stage and Taiwanese Vaudeville Troupe series, Shen try to combine different ways of display, such as emphasizing individual large-size photo, grouping related photos, and DVD shorts, to give a complex presentation. While working through the long period of shooting, the winding journey of field research, the abundant cultural clues, the intimate visual distance, and the shared memory of people, Shen focus on exploring the vaudeville industry, in time, space and a three- dimensional visual interpretation, and hope to move the viewers to examine this local entertainment industry from a leveled and cultural aspect.
